Yesterday, the foaling season 2026 has officially started. The first foal arrived in a red bag - which is a high-risk medical emergency where the placenta comes out first and the foal is left without any supply. But everything turned out well for this long-legged lady🙏
Due to the close monitoring and very fast reaction of Ruth and the team, we are very pleased to introduce you to this wonderful lady by Comilfo Plus Z x Diamant de Semilly.

A Dramatic Start to Foaling Season 2026 & A Heartwarming Triumph!
Hello World – From the Breeding Team!
The air is buzzing with anticipation and relief here at the stables, as the Foaling Season 2026 has officially commenced! While every foaling is a miracle, our first arrival, born just yesterday, presented us with a high-stakes emergency that tested the speed and expertise of our dedicated team.
This beautiful, long-legged filly made her entrance via a "red bag" delivery. For those unfamiliar, a red bag is a critical, life-threatening emergency where the placenta (chorioallantois) prematurely separates from the uterine wall and presents before the foal. This cuts off the foal's vital oxygen and blood supply, making every second count to prevent oxygen deprivation and brain damage.
The sight of the thick, red, velvety membrane protruding from the mare meant that this foal was in immediate peril. However, due to the meticulous, round-the-clock foaling watch led by Ruth, and the entire night staff, the emergency was identified instantly. Their incredibly fast and coordinated reaction—breaking the sac and assisting the mare to deliver the foal immediately—was the sole factor in this little lady’s survival and current excellent health.
We are utterly thrilled and profoundly grateful to report that, despite the dramatic entrance, everything turned out perfectly for this wonderful new addition to our family! She is a stunning, elegant filly with impressive length of leg, already showing the quality of her exceptional lineage.
We are so proud to introduce you to this brave, beautiful lady, sired by the highly sought-after show jumping stallion Comilfo Plus Z (by Cornet Obolensky) and out of an esteemed dam by the legendary Diamant de Semilly. This combination of modern bloodlines promises a future star in the sport!
